Ekonda is a rural settlement in Evenkiysky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It sits in a lake-filled area on the left bank of the Vilyuy River, a little downstream from where the Pasporin joins it. Founded in 1947, Ekonda covers 0.43 square kilometers and sits about 500 meters above sea level. The population was 291 in 2010 and 317 in 2021, with a density of about 680 people per square kilometer. The postal code is 648592 and the OKTMO code is 04650453101. Ekonda is in the UTC+7 time zone, and KrasAvia operates flights to the settlement. The district center, Tura, is about 200 kilometers to the southwest. Lake Suringda lies to the south and is one of the area’s largest lakes.
