Lulu Ann Gribbin, born October 3, 2008, is a para-athlete and youth advocate from Alabama. She attended Mountain Brook High School in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

In June 2024, at Seacrest Beach, Florida, Lulu was attacked by a bull shark. She lost her left hand first, then part of her right leg, and another portion of the leg had to be amputated. She spent 77 days recovering in the hospital.

In 2025, Lulu founded the Lulu Strong Foundation to help amputees and fund prosthetic research, with a goal of providing lighter-weight prosthetics faster. The foundation’s board includes her mother, Ann Blair Gribbin, along with Davis Butler, Stephen Faust, and David Jones.

Lulu helped push for Lulu’s Law, a bill to require Wireless Emergency Alerts after shark attacks. It was introduced in Alabama on July 8, 2024, and in the U.S. House on August 16, 2024, and was updated to alert only after unprovoked attacks.

Three months after the attack, Lulu began playing golf with a prosthetic made from PVC and 3D-printed parts. She even played rounds with pro golfers Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler. She also enjoys water skiing and running.

In 2025, Lulu was named Southern Living Southerner of the Year.
