Jin (TV series) is a Japanese sci‑fi medical drama based on Motoka Murakami’s manga Jin. It aired on TBS in 2009 (Season 1) and 2011 (Season 2), totaling 22 episodes. The show follows a brain surgeon who time travels to the Edo period and Must find a way back to his own era while dealing with history.

Plot
- Season 1: Jin Minakata, a surgeon, is knocked into the past and wakes up in Edo-era Japan. He is rescued with help from Kyōtarō Tachibana, who is badly injured in the process. Saki Tachibana becomes Jin’s assistant as he tries to save lives and figure out how to return home.
- Season 2: Two years later in Edo, Jin and Saki develop a medicinal confection to help Saki’s mother who has beriberi. Ryōma Sakamoto asks Jin to treat Shōzan Sakuma, but saving him could change history. Jin faces the moral dilemma of altering the past.
