Javi Martínez (footballer, born 1999)
Javier "Javi" Martínez Calvo (born 22 December 1999) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a winger for SD Eibar. He was born in Ólvega, Spain, and grew up in CA Osasuna’s youth system.
He began his senior career with Osasuna B in 2016, making his debut at age 16. In September 2017 he extended his contract with Osasuna until 2022 and soon scored his first senior goal.
Martínez made his professional debut for Osasuna’s first team on 31 May 2019 in a 3–2 win at Córdoba. His La Liga debut came on 19 July 2020 in a home draw with Mallorca. He scored his first professional goal on 17 January 2021 in the Copa del Rey against Espanyol, and his first La Liga goal on 21 April 2021 against Valencia at El Sadar.
He spent time on loan away from Osasuna: to Albacete in the 2022–23 season and to Huesca in the 2023–24 season.
In July 2024 he returned to Osasuna, but after playing only one league match he left in January 2025 and joined SD Eibar on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
He has represented Spain at the Under-19 level.
