Valeriy Avdysh

Valeriy Zedovych Avdysh (born 11 November 1950 in Zhytomyr) is a Ukrainian former football defender and current referee. He played in the 1970s and early 1980s for several Ukrainian clubs, including Avtomobilist Zhytomyr, Horyn Rivne, Vulkan Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Spartak Ivano-Frankivsk, Tavriya Simferopol and Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk. After ending his playing career, he became a football referee. He was a linesman at the Russia–Poland exhibition match in Moscow on 2 June 1996. He is the younger brother of the late Ukrainian football manager Zaya Avdysh.
