Jarjisa (Arabic: جرجيسا, also romanized as Jarjeesa) is a village in northwestern Syria, southwest of Hama, on the eastern bank of the Orontes River near the border between Hama and Homs governorates. It is part of Hama Governorate, Hama District, Hirbnafsah Subdistrict. Nearby towns are Tumin to the east, al-Rastan to the southeast, Kafr Nan to the southwest, Hirbnafsah to the west, Deir al-Fardis to the northwest, and al-Biyah to the north. In 2004, its population was 4,352. The residents are mainly Turkmen Sunni Muslims. In 2012, at least 13 civilians were killed when the village was shelled by the Syrian Army.
