DRL Coachlines is a motor coach bus company in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is fully owned by DRL Group of Triton. The company began with charter services and, in 1996, took over Terra Transport Roadcruiser services on Newfoundland. Its main service runs two daily buses along Route 1, one in each direction, with stops across the province. DRL later expanded to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, and it held a license to operate an Halifax–Yarmouth intercity route via Bridgewater on the South Shore. It also served as a contract school bus operator for the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board. Tickets are bought on the bus and cash is accepted. In the mid-2000s, DRL lost its operating licenses for intercity, charter, and school buses in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick due to safety, maintenance, and tax problems. The company has faced complaints about its intercity service in Newfoundland and Labrador, where it has a monopoly. DRL suspended operations during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, then resumed on June 18, 2020.
