Christian Hanson (footballer)
Christian Hanson (born 3 August 1981) is a retired English footballer who played as a central defender. A left‑footed player from Middlesbrough, he came through the Middlesbrough youth system and turned professional in 2000. He had brief Football League spells with Cambridge United, Torquay United, Port Vale and Leyton Orient, but spent most of his career in non‑league football. His notable achievement came in 2006 when he helped Grays Athletic win the FA Trophy. He also played for numerous non‑league clubs, including Spennymoor United, Havant & Waterlooville, Billingham Synthonia, Billingham Town, Gateshead, Spennymoor Town and Whitby Town.
