Jameela Alia Jamil, born 25 February 1986 in London, is a British actress, TV host, writer and activist. She has Pakistani heritage on her mother’s side and Indian heritage on her father’s side.

Career highlights
- She started on Channel 4’s T4 (2009–2012) and then became the host of The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1, the first solo female presenter of the show.
- In 2016, she moved to the United States to act. She played Tahani Al-Jamil in The Good Place.
