Jacob Pavlovich Kogan (born May 28, 1995) is an American actor from New York City. He is best known for starring in the 2007 thriller Joshua and for playing the young Spock in Star Trek (2009).

His mother, Deborah Copaken Kogan, is an author and photographer, and his father, Paul Kogan, is a Russian-born former child actor. He has two younger siblings, Sasha (born 1997) and Leo (born 2006). His family has Jewish roots, and he identifies as Jewish and atheist.

Kogan attended the Dalton School in New York, where he was the lead singer and guitarist in the band Flake, which released an EP in 2008. Early in his career, he appeared on the comedy show Wonder Showzen and had roles in Lifelines (2009), Delocated, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011). He also played Luca Jameson in The Tomorrow People and studied at Northwestern University.
