J. James (politician)
J. James was an Indian politician from Palliyadi in Tamil Nadu. He served three terms as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for the Thiruvattar constituency. His terms were 1967–1971, 1971–1976, and 1977–1982. He was elected as an Indian National Congress candidate in 1967, as an Indian National Congress (Organisation) candidate in 1971, and as a Janata Party candidate in 1977. After retiring from politics, he served as the Correspondent of Nesamony Memorial Christian College. He was born in Palliyadi, South Travancore (Travancore Kingdom), in present-day Tamil Nadu, India.
