Ischyropalpus

Ischyropalpus is a genus of antlike flower beetles in the family Anthicidae. It belongs to the animal kingdom (Animalia), the arthropod phylum (Arthropoda), the class of insects (Insecta), and the order Coleoptera (beetles). It is part of the suborder Polyphaga and the infraorder Cucujiformia, within the subfamily Anthicinae. The genus was described by LaFerté-Sénectère in 1849 and has also been named Lappus (Casey, 1895). There are about 15 described species in Ischyropalpus.
