Irina (Ukrainian: Ірина) (d. 990) was the Grand Princess of Kiev by marriage to Vladimir the Great, who ruled Kiev from about 980 to 1015. She had been a Greek nun. During a campaign in Bulgaria, Vladimir's father, Grand Prince Svyatoslav Igorevich of Kiev, captured her and gave her to his son Yaropolk Svyatoslavich as a concubine. After Vladimir killed Yaropolk, he forced Irina to marry him, and she became Grand Princess of Kiev.
