La Cellette, Puy-de-Dôme

La Cellette is a small commune in central France. It’s in the Puy-de-Dôme department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The area covers about 111 square kilometers, and 169 people lived there in 2023. The town sits at elevations from 538 to 803 meters (roughly 1,765 to 2,635 feet), with an average around 377 meters. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Jean-Claude Cazeau. La Cellette is part of the Riom arrondissement, the Saint-Éloy-les-Mines canton, and the Pays de Saint-Éloy intercommunality. In Occitan, it is called La Celeta.
