International Peace Garden Border Crossing
International Peace Garden Border Crossing, also known as the Dunseith–Boissevain Border Crossing, connects Boissevain, Manitoba with Dunseith, North Dakota. It sits beside the International Peace Garden, which opened in 1932, two years after the border crossing began in 1930. This crossing is one of two 24-hour border ports between Manitoba and North Dakota.
On the U.S. side, the crossing is at US Route 281 and North Dakota Highway 3 in Rolette County. On the Canadian side, it is on Manitoba Highway 10 in the Boissevain–Morton area.
The entrance to the Peace Garden sits directly on the international border, allowing visitors to enter the park without reporting to a border station first. Visitors may move around freely inside the park, but must go through customs and immigration procedures in one country after leaving the garden.
Nearby, the International Peace Garden Airport provides general aviation services for aircraft with up to 15 passengers and is located east of the garden on the U.S. side.
