Bill Cooke (born February 26, 1951) is a former American football player who was a defensive end in the NFL. He appeared in 75 games and started 7 over six seasons with the Green Bay Packers (1975), San Francisco 49ers (1976–1977), Detroit Lions (1978), and Seattle Seahawks (1978–1980). He recovered 2 fumbles. Cooke played college football at the University of Connecticut and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He stood 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 249 pounds. He grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and attended Chelmsford High School and Worcester Academy. He was drafted in 1975 in the 10th round (244th overall) by the Packers.
