Institute of Management Studies (IMS) is the management teaching department of Devi Ahilya University in Indore. Established in 1969, it operates as an autonomous institute led by Director Sangeeta Jain. Located on the Takshashila Campus in Indore, IMS offers MBA, BBA, and an integrated BBA+MBA program, including a hospital administration track. It is known for pioneering hospital administration in India and for introducing the integrated BBA+MBA in E-commerce in the state. IMS began as the Department of Business Administration and is the oldest MBA provider in the city. It started with a distance education degree in business administration (three-year program); intake later expanded, and today more than 3,000 students study there full-time or part-time. The campus is beside the Education Multimedia Research Center, near the Law School, on the outer edge of Indore near Bhawarkua along Khandwa Road.
