Hamza Zenevisi
Hamza Zenevisi, also known as Amos Sarbissa, was an Ottoman official of Albanian origin who served as the sanjakbey (governor) of the Sanjak of Mezistre, based in Mystras, from 1456 to 1460. He came from the Zenebishi noble family of Christian Albanians from Zagori, in what is now southern Albania. After his family submitted to the Ottoman sultan and converted to Islam, Hamza was sent as a hostage to the Ottoman court. In 1459, he defeated the Despots of the Morea during their siege of Patras. In 1460, after the Ottoman conquest of the Morea, he became the sanjakbey of Mezistre.
