Bezirksoberliga Mittelfranken

Bezirksoberliga Mittelfranken was a football league in Middle Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It was the seventh tier of the German league system and existed from 1988 until 2012. The league was created to provide a single high division for Bavaria’s seven administrative regions, and it sat above the Bezirksligas (the regional leagues) and below the Landesliga Bayern-Mitte. The champions were promoted directly to Landesliga Bayern-Mitte, while the runners-up sometimes entered promotion playoffs, along with the possibility of relegation for the bottom teams to the Bezirksliga.

The last champions (2011–12) were 1. SC Feucht. In 2012, Bavarian football underwent a major reform: the Landesligas expanded from three to five divisions, and the Bezirksoberligas were abolished. After the reform, Bezirksligas became the level directly below the Landesligas again, and the clubs that had played in Bezirksoberliga Mittelfranken joined the Bezirksligas (Mittelfranken-Nord or Mittelfranken-Süd) accordingly.
