The Green 'Un is a Sheffield sports site that began as a Saturday sports newspaper in the evenings and moved online in 2013. It got its name from the light green newsprint it was printed on.

It started on 14 September 1907 as the Saturday Sports Edition of the Yorkshire Telegraph and Star and kept that name until 3 June 1911. It then became the Week and Sports Special Green 'Un (10 June 1911 – 28 February 1914), followed by Sports Special The Green 'Un (7 March 1914 – 24 December 1937). After World War II it was called Green 'Un again (31 August 1946 – 23 November 1946), and then officially The Star Green 'Un (30 November 1946).

The Green 'Un was published with its sister papers The Star and the Sheffield Telegraph by Johnston Press PLC. Print publication ended in 2013, with a souvenir edition on 15 July 2013 to mark 106 years. It was one of the last locally focused sports papers still printed in the country.
