Hugh Prosser
Hugh Prosser (March 2, 1907 – November 8, 1952) was a Hollywood actor who appeared in more than 90 films from 1936 to 1953. Born in Illinois, he was a versatile supporting player who often portrayed unscrupulous villains but could also handle character parts and sympathetic roles. He was also prolific on early television, with many bit parts in famous films, and he shone in B-movies and several cliffhanger serials. He died in a car accident near Gallup, New Mexico.
