Hu Ping (politician)
Hu Ping (胡平; 1 July 1930 – 4 August 2020) was a Chinese politician and member of the Chinese Communist Party. He served as Governor of Fujian from 1983 to 1987 and as Minister of Commerce from 1988 to 1993 under Premier Li Peng. Born in Jiaxing County, Zhejiang, he studied at Suzhou Technical School. Hu Ping died in Beijing on 4 August 2020 at the age of 90.
