List of high commissioners of New Zealand to Kiribati

New Zealand's high commissioner to Kiribati is the senior New Zealand diplomat in Kiribati and leads New Zealand’s diplomatic mission there. The mission is based in South Tarawa, Kiribati’s capital. New Zealand has kept a resident high commissioner in Kiribati since 1989. The high commissioner is also the representative to the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. Because Kiribati and New Zealand are both in the Commonwealth, their relations are between governments rather than between heads of state, so they exchange high commissioners instead of ambassadors.
