Hope Island railway station is a planned stop on the Gold Coast Line in Queensland, Australia. It will serve the suburbs of Helensvale, Hope Island and Oxenford, located between Coomera and Helensvale stations. The Gold Coast Line was built in stages from 1996 to 2009, and a Hope Island station was planned during construction but not built due to low demand. In 2017 the government announced three new in-fill stations for the line, including Hope Island, as part of Cross River Rail. In 2021 the nearby Helensvale North station was renamed Hope Island after community feedback. The station is expected to handle about 2,800 daily passengers and cost up to $40 million, with opening planned for 2026. It was originally slated to open with Cross River Rail but will now operate independently. The site is on Hope Island Road, near Mangrove Jack Park, just south of the Coomera River, and will link with buses and walking and cycling paths. The design includes space for about 174 car parking bays and 40 bicycle spaces. The station will have two elevated side platforms on two tracks and be accessible.
