Tollens-Fonds
The Tollens-Fonds is a Dutch literary foundation named after the poet Hendrik Tollens. It awards two prizes: the Tollens Prize and, until 2008, the Jacobson Prize.
The Tollens Prize is a five-yearly award for a body of work judged by a panel to have the highest literary value in the previous five years. It was established by the Tollensfonds board in 1902 and has been called the Tollensprijs since 1925.
The Jacobson Prize, named after Jos. Jacobson, was awarded every three years to an older writer or critic, usually for their entire oeuvre, and was given until 2008.
