Hemi Doron, born Nehemia Doron on 16 October 1956 in Rishon LeZion, Israel, is a former Israeli politician. He studied law and political science, worked as an insurance lawyer, and served on the Rishon LeZion city council from 1993 to 2003.

In 2003 he entered the Knesset as a Shinui member (14th on the party list) and served until 2006. During his term he sat on several committees, including Foreign Affairs and Defense; Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs; Labor, Welfare and Health; Internal Affairs and Environment; and Foreign Workers, and he was Deputy Speaker of the Knesset.

In January 2006 he and most Shinui MKs left to form the Secular Faction (Hetz). On February 5, 2006 he and Eliezer Sandberg left the Secular Faction to form National Home. The party dissolved before the 2006 elections, and Doron joined Likud, but did not receive a spot on the final list and lost his seat.

In 2008 he was 59th on Likud’s list for the 2009 elections, but was not elected. After leaving Parliament, Doron founded the Path to Proper Governance Movement, a non-parliamentary group that aimed to combat local government corruption.

On 28 August 2008 Doron was appointed mayor of Tayibe, an Arab city in Israel, by the Ministry of Interior, a post he held until September 2009.
