Helsington
Helsington is a small civil parish in Cumbria, England, in the Westmorland and Furness district. It includes the village of Brigsteer and Sizergh Castle and Garden, a National Trust property. The parish had a population of 288 in 2001 and 308 in 2011. In the northern part of Helsington, near the ruined fort at Watercrook, significant Roman artefacts have been found, associated with the site known as Alavana.
