Will Aimson (born 3 June 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Wigan Athletic in League One. He started at Eastleigh and earned a Hull City trial, joining Hull in 2014. He had loan spells with Tamworth and Tranmere Rovers. He moved to Blackpool on loan in 2015, which became a permanent switch in 2016. After leaving Blackpool in 2018, he signed for Bury. In 2019 he joined Plymouth Argyle, where he scored twice in a 2–2 draw with Scunthorpe. In 2021 he signed for Bolton Wanderers; his debut was delayed by an injury, but he later played and scored his first Bolton goal in 2022. He joined Exeter City in January 2023, and moved to Wigan Athletic in July 2024. His grandfather was Paul Aimson, a footballer, and Will attended Highcliffe School; he also enjoyed golf.
