Hattigny is a small commune in north-eastern France, in the Moselle department of the Grand Est region. It is part of the Sarrebourg-Château-Salins arrondissement and the Phalsbourg canton, and belongs to the Sarrebourg - Moselle Sud intercommunality. The area covers 113.14 square kilometers. In 2023, 235 people lived there, giving a density of about 18 residents per square kilometer. Elevation ranges from 291 to 372 meters above sea level. The postal code is 57790 and the INSEE code is 57302. Coordinates are 48.6322°N, 6.9658°E. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Brigitte Helluy. In French it is pronounced Hattigny, and in German it is Hattingen.
