Paliyad
Paliyad (also spelled Paliad) is a town in Bhavnagar district on the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, western India. It was a small princely state under British rule, classified as a 7-guns-salute state in the Jhalawar prant and ruled by a Kathi Darbar. The state included the town and 34 villages, with a population of 10,970 in 1901. It had revenue of 51,750 rupees in 1903–04, mostly from land, and paid a tribute of 1,200 rupees to the British.
