Harrison Keller, born Jerry William Harrison Keller on December 15, 1970, is an American academic and the current president of the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton. He became the 17th UNT president on August 1, 2024, and was installed on November 13, 2024, after succeeding Neal Smatresk. Before joining UNT, Keller held leadership roles at the University of Texas at Austin and served as Commissioner of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board from 2019 to 2024. He earned a BA from the University of Notre Dame and MA and PhD degrees from Georgetown University. Keller served in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 2005 to 2015. He is married to Gena Nivens and they have three children.
