Harrisia simpsonii
Simpson's applecactus, Harrisia simpsonii, is a cactus found in Florida in the southeastern United States. It grows on shell mounds, in mangrove swamps, or on high hammocks, and it can be found near buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus). The species is listed as Imperiled by NatureServe and is mainly threatened by collection for horticulture.
