Harish Fabiani
Harish Fabiani is a Madrid-based Indian businessman known for pioneering private equity in India. He studied Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering in Delhi in 1981 and later completed executive education in Finance and Corporate Management at IESE Business School in Madrid.
He works with technology firms, commercial real estate, finance, and trading, and he advises companies on governance and transparency. He also helped strengthen India–Spain ties by bringing former Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar to India in 2008.
Fabiani founded Americorp Ventures. The Americorp Group, based in Madrid, has more than $2 billion invested across private equity, public markets, and real estate in Europe and India. It has been an early investor in Indian equities since 1997, backing companies such as Nimbus, AsiaNet Satellite Communications, TV18, Edelweiss Capital, and Indiabulls. Transatlantic Corporation, a fund he promotes, invested $2 million in Indiabulls along with LNM India Internet Ventures.
He also started India Land, a real estate development company focused on commercial projects in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Pune. Notable projects include Chennai Tech Park (2.4 million sq ft LEED Gold IT park in Ambattur, Chennai), a 1.9 million sq ft LEED Gold IT SEZ in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, and a 28-acre industrial park in Hinjewadi, Pune.
He is married to Roopa Fabiani.
