Annelies Wilder-Smith
Annelies Wilder-Smith (born 1961) is a leader in travel and tropical medicine. She is a professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a visiting professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She has led international travel medicine groups, including serving as president of the International Society of Travel Medicine and the Asia Pacific Society of Travel Medicine, and she chaired the Regional ISTM Conference in Singapore.
Her research focuses on COVID-19, SARS, influenza, travel health, vaccines, and emerging diseases such as Zika, dengue, yellow fever, chikungunya, and meningococcal disease.

- Head of the Travellers' Health & Vaccination Center, Singapore since 2000
- Co-editor of the WHO’s annual International Travel and Health revisions since 2006
- Co-editor of travel medicine textbooks, including Manual of Travel Medicine & Health and Travel Medicine: Tales Behind the Science
- Editorial consultant for The Lancet since 2004
She has published more than 390 scientific papers.

- Myrone Levine Vaccinology Prize
- Honor Award for exemplary leadership and communication of global yellow fever at the CDC Award Ceremony
- Mercator Professorship by the German Research Foundation
- Ashdown Oration Award by the Australian College of Travel Medicine
