Happy Valley Shanghai is an amusement park in Shanghai, China. It is located in Songjiang District, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from downtown Shanghai. The park opened on August 16, 2009, and is the fourth Happy Valley park. It covers about 863,500 square meters (213.4 acres). There are seven themed areas: Sunshine Beach, Happy Times, Typhoon Bay, Gold Mine Town, Ant Kingdom, Shanghai Beach, and Shangri-la Woods. The park has more than 100 attractions, including seven roller coasters. In Chinese, it’s 上海欢乐谷 (Shànghǎi Huānlè Gǔ).
