There is also a Pré-Concentration Scientifique for 7th–8th graders as a precursor to the Concentration Scientifique. The school colors are green, white, and blue; the mascot is Sammy the frog, and the teams are called Les Laser de Samuel-Genest. The principal is Julie Azzi and the administrator is Sylvie Plouffe.
