Tomosvaryella
Tomosvaryella is a genus of big-headed flies in the family Pipunculidae. They are insects in the order Diptera (true flies). The genus is placed in the subfamily Pipunculinae and the tribe Tomosvaryellini. It was established by Aczél in 1939. The type species is Pipunculus sylvaticus, described by Meigen in 1824. There are at least 280 species in this genus. Synonyms include Alloneura (Rondani, 1856) and Adella (Kuznetzov, 1995).
