Hannah Kane
Hannah Kane is a Republican member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 11th Worcester District, which includes Shrewsbury and Westborough. She has held the seat since April 8, 2015, succeeding Matt Beaton. Born in 1971, she lives in Shrewsbury with her husband, James Kane, and their three children. Kane is the owner of Beaton Kane Construction, a company she runs with Matt Beaton. She previously worked at Unum and at MassDevelopment, where she led marketing and product development. Kane serves on several House committees, including as Ranking Minority on the Joint Committee on Cannabis Policy and on Public Health, and as a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee on Ways and Means. She is also a Shrewsbury Town Meeting Member and president of the Shrewsbury Public Schools Foundation.
