Charlie Gallogly
Charlie Gallogly (Charles Gallogly) was an Irish footballer who played as a fullback. He was born on 16 June 1919 in Gilford, County Down, Ireland, and died on 12 January 1993 in New York, United States, aged 73.
Gallogly began his senior career with Glenavon (1949–1952), then moved to Huddersfield Town (1952–1954) where he made 76 league appearances. He played for Watford (1954–1955) with 47 league appearances, and had a spell at Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic (1954–1955) without first-team appearances.
Internationally, he earned two caps for Ireland in 1950 and one cap for the United States in 1949. In 1958 he emigrated to the United States and managed Brooklyn Shamrocks F.C. from 1958 to 1961. He passed away in New York on 12 January 1993.
