Handale Priory

Handale Priory, also known as Grendale, was a Cistercian nuns’ priory in Handale, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1133 by William, son of Roger de Percy, and dissolved in 1539 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Today a fishpond remains on the site, and an 18th-century farmhouse built there may incorporate parts of the priory.
