Andrés Navarro García (born February 4, 1964) is a Dominican architect, urban planner, writer, professor and politician. He served as the Dominican Republic’s Minister of Foreign Relations from September 15, 2014, to August 16, 2016, under President Danilo Medina. Before that, he was Chief of Cabinet at the Ministry of Public Works from April 22 to September 15, 2014, working with Minister Gonzalo Castillo. He was born in Bonao (now in Monseñor Nouel Province) and studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He is a member of the Dominican Liberation Party and lives in Santo Domingo. His career has focused on public administration and diplomacy.
