Haima Freema
The Haima Freema is a compact MPV made by the Chinese company Haima. It came in two generations from 2004–2014.
- Gen 1 (2004–2011): Essentially a rebadge of the Mazda Premacy. It had a 1.8 L petrol engine (around 122 hp) with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
- Gen 2 (2011–2014): Based on the same platform but with a longer wheelbase to offer an optional seven-seat layout. It offered a 1.6 L petrol engine (about 120 hp) or a 1.8 L petrol engine, with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. It was built in Hainan, China, and received a facelift in 2014 to refresh the front end.
EV version: The Freema EV was launched in 2011 based on Gen 1, and production continued with an electric version based on Gen 2 after the gasoline model ended. A small number of Gen 1 Freemas were converted to electric vehicles.
