Harry Cunningham (footballer)
Harry Cunningham (born 6 December 1993) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Sydney Swans in the AFL. He grew up in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, and played junior football with Turvey Park. He was recruited by Sydney with pick 93 in the 2012 Rookie Draft and was promoted to the senior list that year. Cunningham is a midfielder, 181 cm tall and 71 kg, wearing number 7. He made his AFL debut in Round 1, 2012 in the Sydney Derby against Greater Western Sydney. He was nominated for the 2014 AFL Rising Star. As of 2025, he has played 208 AFL games and kicked 52 goals for the Swans. In Round 2, 2024, he was involved in an incident with Essendon forward Peter Wright, who received a four-match suspension after the bump. He is the son of Mark Cunningham, who played for North Broken Hill.
