Gunma Prefectural Women's University

Gunma Prefectural Women's University (群馬県立女子大学, Gunma kenritsu joshi daigaku) is a public university in Tamamura, Gunma, Japan. It opened in 1980 in Maebashi and moved to Tamamura in 1982. It is one of Japan’s two public women’s universities, the other being Fukuoka Women's University. A doctoral program began in 1994.
