Schoenfelderpeton was an extinct genus of small amphibians called branchiosaurids, which were part of the larger Temnospondyli group. It is a sister genus to Leptorophus tener. The genus was named by Boy in 1986, and its type species is Schoenfelderpeton prescheri.
