PICMG 2.10
PICMG 2.10 defines how cPCI backplanes and cards are keyed to match voltage and hardware standards. It uses keying defined for the J4/P4 connector (IEC 1076-4-101) and for handles and card guides (IEEE 1101.10). Backplanes can be designed for 3.3V or 5V VIO, distinguished by color codes: Cadmium Yellow for 3.3V and Brilliant Blue for 5V. A card operating at a specific VIO should carry the matching color key; cards that work with both voltages may have no key. Additional keys exist for compatibility with PICMG 2.5.
