Guabiruba

Guabiruba is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It has about 24,382 residents. The town sits about 60 meters above sea level, at coordinates 27°05′09″ S and 48°58′52″ W. It was mainly settled by people from Baden, Germany, which gives the area a strong German influence. Guabiruba is sometimes known as “Pelznickelland.”
