1963 Humboldt State Lumberjacks football team
1963 Humboldt State Lumberjacks football team. Humboldt State College (now Cal Poly Humboldt) played in the Far Western Conference during the 1963 NCAA College Division season. Under 13th-year head coach Phil Sarboe, they went 6–1–2 overall and 3–1–1 in the conference, sharing the FWC title with San Francisco State and UC Davis. They outscored opponents 138–54 and had five shutouts. Home games were at the Redwood Bowl in Arcata, California.
