Gothamipura Grama Niladhari Division is a local administrative area in the Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretariat of Colombo District, in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. It covers 1.25 square kilometers, sits about 12 meters above sea level, and had a population of 6,498 in 2012 (density 5,198 per square kilometer). The division is bordered by Borella South, Narahenpita, Nawala West, Obesekarapura, Welikada North and Borella North GN Divisions. Notable places in or near Gothamipura include Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Western Hospital, Royal Colombo Golf Club, the Japanese School in Colombo, and Nawala.

Gothamipura has a Sinhalese majority of 72.0% and a significant Sri Lankan Tamil minority of 18.0%. Buddhists make up 65.6% of the population and Hindus 13.7%. In the larger Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretariat, Sinhalese are 52.8%, Tamils 28.0%, Moors 15.1%; Buddhists 47.9%, Hindus 22.5%, Muslims 17.4%. Gothamipura is part of the Colombo Electoral District and the Colombo East Polling Division.
