Veronika Honkasalo (born 7 July 1975 in Lappeenranta) is a Finnish politician who represents the Left Alliance in the Parliament of Finland for the Helsinki constituency. She has served in Parliament since 2019. Honkasalo earned a PhD in social sciences in 2012 and became an associate professor in 2018. She works as a researcher at the Youth Research Society and has published several studies on youth. She entered Helsinki's city council in 2012 and was elected to Parliament in 2019. She opposes the forcible expulsion of Palestinians to make way for Israeli settlements and proposed a motion to ban imports of goods produced by people living in those settlements, under Article 49 of the Geneva Convention.
